I chose this one because first and foremost I found it to be safe after the company revised the base that had been recalled. Also, this is appropriate for younger kids 18+ and low enough which was important to me so that my son could get on and off by himself. Lastly, it is very entertaining and my little one absolutely loves it! He enjoys rocking to the music it plays when you press the ears. This is a really cute puppet. it has two types of fur on it and leather feet and beak along with a long, wonderful tail. However, I can't help but being a little disappointed in it. You can't move the feet or the wings. The only hole is to move the beak and since it is leather, it can't move that much.

Really cute and good for people who can't have macaws but want one, I just wish the wings moved.

But don't get me wrong, it is super life-like and cute and I am so glad I bought it.

This is a great puppet! It is not as big as I thought it would be, but if it were any larger it would extend past my elbow and make it difficult to control. From head to top of the tail is as long as my arm to the elbow, the tail is almost as long as the body. I would guess that it is close to lifesize, but not a lot of stuffing, so it is not heavy. The tail also has "beads" in it to weight it down so it hangs properly - nice touch. Most of the puppet is made with craft fur. The red on its chest and legs has black "roots" which gives it a "real" look. The beak and feet are made out of black vinyl that is a little stiff, so it is durable but a little hard to control. The space for your hand in the beak is a little large (for a woman's hands), so that makes it also hard to control, but there was some paper in there when it arrived - maybe I was supposed to leave that in? The tail and legs cover the armhole nicely, so it looks real. There are also little holes built into its legs so you can make him dance!

Overall, this is another great puppet by Folkmais. I am very pleased with my purchase. I bought this item for my Church VBS and everyone I have showed it to loves it!! I highly recommend it!

I normally love Lamaze toys. They are always super colorful. This one, however, is not good. The bottom is round so when it spins it wobbles and tips, particularly on carpet. If the baby grabs it while it's spinning, it interfers with the motor and makes a loud clacking noise. The rings are large and bulky. My daughter does like the fabric and ribbon decorations.

This wasn't what I expected. When my son grabs on to the stacking pole the music starts to make a grinding noise, which is not so enjoyable. The rings are way too bulky and the they are a hard hollow plastic. I'm sure it's a fine toy for some kids, but my son enjoys the $4.00 Infantino stacking rings much more.

Maybe I got a defective one, but it is very difficult to get this toy to play music/sound. I have tried tilting it, pushing down on the top, tapping it, and short of throwing it against the wall, I rarely get it to respond. I have changed the batteries, and tried everything I can think of. My little girl gets excited when I can finally get it to play a short little song, but then cries because it won't do it again.

My daughter's backpack arrived today. She loves watching Dora and instantly recognized the backpack from the TV show. The backpack is of good quality. It's soft, the face is made of a shiny plastic/vinyl, and it has an attractive look. It comes with the Map, which has a cute face on the outside and the inside has a picture of Dora traveling through a maze to get home. It folds up and fits into one of the side pockets (the backpack has two), with a short purple rope attached to keep it from getting lost. The backpack is a perfect size for kids, and can fit several good-sized books inside. The velcro on the flap keeps the top closed well. The straps are adjustable and it looks like it will fit for the next few years (she's 18 months now). Overall this was a great purchase and we are very happy with it.

The doll has plastic hair, not yarn, and the hat does not stay on long. Sarah can't get the hat to stay on at all, I have to put it on, and it doesn't stay put as long as Woody's hat. Still, Sarah does not mind any of this - she loves Jessie, and I'm so happy I could find a Jessie doll for our Toy Story collection. Sarah doesn't really care for the other accessories (lasso, rabbit) but I would still say the toy was worth the price, for the amount of time it's played with.

I bought this for my grandaughter who is 3. She really likes the doll but seldom pulls the string because you can hardly hear Jessie talk. I have to put it right up to my ear to make out what shes saying, and I can hear just fine. I would imagine an older child would be disappointed because she would realized the voice should be louder. Who knows, maybe we got a bum one. I got it for her because she was sick and stuck in the house for a couple of weeks so I didn't dare try and return it. Served the purpose. She got it for Christmas (only two months ago) and even if she takes really good care of it (I even hand wash it), it has begin to come unstitched everywhere, at the head, the cheeks, the ears, even the boots that look made from a different material than the rest of the doll. It seems the fabric which it is made is very cheap and of poor quality. I would not recommend it to other people, and if I could, I would buy another more durable.

The plush arrived extremely quickly and wrapped in paw-print tissue paper. It is about 16" long from nose to tail, 7" wide, and about 12" tall. It's ears have wire in them so they stand up well, and there is a little bit of pink air-brushed on the inside of the ears. The plush fur seems different than it does in the picture and has minor fabric shedding, but that is not really a concern for me since it's a gift for my mother and not a small child. This plush is still one of the cutest I have seen.

After less than a week of having it a 2" section of the back had come apart and you can see the stuffing. The eyes are made of PLASTIC. There are some reviews that complain that the fluff comes off. I suggest washing it a couple of times and you shouldn't run into that problem. I bought this for my 20 month old and she loves it. She doesn't love it as much as her blank-ee and her lamb-ee, but she loves holding Elmo and hugging him. It is well built in my opinion and I would definitely recommend him, but definitely wash him a couple of times first.

My son (who was born in 2003) has a bunch of giant microbes now. We have the flu, typhoid, polio, fat cells, bed bugs, a red blood cell and a white blood cell. These are fabulous, well constructed educational stuffies. They come with detailed explanations and fantastic pictures of the actual microbes. We've combined these with the Grossology book for a fun, silly educational experience. We have a lot of fun with flue in particular pretending to sneeze and throwing it at each other. The red blood cell is particularly aerodynamic and helps my son understand how blood works and, combined with the lumpy little white blood cell, explain how his blood tries to keep him healthy. Our Leukocyte, now named Luke, came with rubbed spots on his eyes. A little disapointed, but still love it.

I bought the Singing Barney for my 4 month old grandson, who absolutely LOVES Barney! I was of the impression that it sang three songs, when in fact it only sings "I Love You, You Love Me" and stops. Well, I bought this for myself (an adult) and I love it. I just love stuffed animals and this one is so soft and cute that it instantly becomes my second favorite. (my favorite is a big white bear from a few years ago) I am sure little kids would love it too! BTW, you can totally throw it into the washer and then dryer and it came out just fine. It's eyes are stitched rather than some plastic thing that might fall off.

Overall, a great toy!:)

My sons, 7 and 9, have been "in" to the Godzilla stuff for over 5 years now. The one who owns this toy is my 7 year-old. His brother has Godzilla and Minilla, he has Space Godzilla and Detroyah, they both share King Ghidorah and some other figures I couldn't name them. I asked my son at the time of typing this review how he thought or felt about this toy. He said "Great!, I cuddle with him at night. I put blanket over him and take care of him. He's my friend." Sure enough, at day time, they set up Godzilla war..,, under one condition, each character has to have its turn to be hero. This Space Godzilla is a neat one.
